First thoughts and community

So everyone who has come to visit and browse the blog, welcome! First, I just want to say don't be afraid to voice your opinion because no one will judge you and I will adhere to such a promise personally. I say this because this blog's virtue comes from the fact that it is made so it will be spread by word alone by the people of this community. Thus, the blog will be made of a population of fellow bloggers which we trust and are on good terms with. This doesn't suggest that the blog is made for an exclusive group of members! Please don't think of it like that. If anything, I personally would love if the community is large because that only brings a greater discussion group and better community. The only reason I see for a "person-to-person relay spread" of the site is so that the community retains its integrity for what it is and does not exclude or make open pariahs of individuals who voice their open opinions.

So in essence I want the blog to be openly fun and heated in great discussion so it keeps more and more ideas flowing in; the blog is essentially a community so from me to you, let's work hard to keep it that way.

So with that said, here's what I kinda feel from my ideas as a Christian: The people are really like sheep. Funny right? People always say that and always have an idea of the notion, but hey, simple ideas get bigger discussions started right? Well my notion on the statement follows as so: sheep are fairly domestic animals, have a Shepherd and generally are attacked by many other paraphernalia. Well, men and women alike keep to household regulations, know how to obey, and of course are housebroken. The population looks toward leaders such as Mr. President, Barack Obama, and icons, i.e. #24 Kobe Bryant, who are iconic figures in society to say the least. Looking at WW1, 2, the Vietnam war, Operation Desert Storm, I think we all know that people are always attacked.

So what's my elaboration on this? Well here's a thought, if we all are like sheep then why do we as people always ask for more? Sheep have Shepherds, produce wool, and can live pretty peacefully as long as they don't fight amongst each other. As so, people have leaders and various other guardians protecting them, produce various assets for each other such as goods or skills, and can live peacefully amongst each other if they didn't fight.
On a related, religious note, sheep have wool which they only need to keep for the most part for warmth. Any excessive wool can be given away or else it's just something that is kept to show off. Aren't people the same way?
Well going back to the discussion. Mainly, this idea comes as a religious blog and I know it seems pretty tangent to the whole idea-discussion purpose of the blog, but kinda felt the need to address the idea of the somewhat excessive nature of concern within the world through the parable of the sheep.
We all have concerns and needs, of course, but it can simply be resolved in any manner if the intent is good and the worry is not elevated to the level of dire importance. Such concerns like "What would happen if I don't pass one test?" or "What will happen if I make a mistake in my performance?" should always be taken as what they are, a single step in life, not the do or die situation that defines whether one lives or dies. Not that I'm saying that we should all "go with the flow" per say, because we would all just be playing Starcraft 2 or sleeping for all eternity then, but fight with passion for what we believe in, for that in itself has PURPOSE, rather than over eccentric events which hold only so much meaning in the whole journey that is life.

I know it's a bit of a frivolous blog but it shows the kinds of things I and the population are willing to discuss, not matter what it is.
Peace be to all, and voice your opinion!
